If you’re wanting to do something with the whole family this summer, but are struggling to think of something that can be enjoyed by all ages and whether it rains or shines, then look no further than the Family Film Club at Canary Wharf.

The event offers the perfect opportunity for the whole family to come to the capital and enjoy the various sights and attractions London has on offer. It promises an afternoon of quality entertainment and chance to spend time with the whole family without having to split into groups.

Guests are invited to bring along a picnic, and maybe an umbrella, to sit in front of the huge screen which is mounted in Canada Square Park and look forward to some incredibly entertaining and family-friendly films for the entire afternoon.

All the movies, which are being shown as part of the London event, are either rated as PG or U, assuring you that the content will be appropriate for all ages of the family. However, you needn’t worry that the older generations will be bored as there are some absolute classics on the listings which will keep both adults and children amused.

The outdoor cinema is surrounded by a variety of family-friendly restaurants so the day out doesn’t need to end when the film finishes. Many of the nearby eateries welcome children of all ages and serve delicious food, which will suit all appetites.

Family Film Club at Canary Wharf includes two Saturdays of films which makes it perfect for a local city break. A number of highly-popular films are to be shown during the week-long event such as the screen adaptation of Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox, which stars George Clooney, and Dennis, which tells the story of a naughty boy and his pranks based of the comic strip series and the classic film Big starring Oscar-winner Tom Hanks.

The Family Film Club at Canary Wharf runs from Saturday August 3rd until Saturday August 10th  from 1pm  until 3pm and entry is free which makes it an incredibly-affordable option in London for the whole family.
