What better way to get ready for the latest incarnation of the Night at the Museum franchise than spending the evening at the National History Museum?
Dino Snores allows adults to enjoy a unique experience with food, science, cinema and live music all combined in one novel night.
Taking place in the museum’s Hintze Hall on 23rd January 2015, you will have the chance to dine in the company of real dinosaurs but hopefully these ones won’t come alive after dark!
As well as the entertainment, which could be anything from stand-up comedy to live music, you’ll also be treated to a delicious three-course meal prepared by professional quality chefs.
There will also be a cash bar open so you can enjoy yourself in the most unique fashion ever. Other events include insect tasting, drawing competitions and the chance to tour some galleries at night, when the crowds have long gone.
And if that wasn’t enough, there will also be an all-night monster movie marathon once you’ve seen some of nature’s most fearsome beasts up close and personal. There will be competitions throughout the night, yet another addition to the evening’s interactive fun!
This one-of-a-kind experience is incredibly popular, not least because it offers you the chance to sleep below a diplodocus skeleton, one of the most impressive beasts to ever grace the Earth.
Tickets cost £180 per person with members eligible for a £162 concession. A free drink on arrival is included in the ticket price.
To get to the museum you can take the Circle, District and Piccadilly lines to South Kensington tube station. From here the the museum is just a short walk away.
One night is not enough to explore the wonders of London, so why not make a full weekend of it and spend the rest of the weekend at one of Shaftesbury Hotels?
